Negotiations between Milan and Japhet Tanganga are ongoing, while Torino have reportedly requested to loan Tommaso Pobega again.

Milan have circa €10m left to complete the last two summer signings and multiple reports in Italy suggest Tanganga is their main target in defence.

Negotiations between the Serie A champions and the English defender are ongoing, and according to Sky Sport Italia, Milan will talk to Tottenham once they shake hands with the 23-year-old.

As per Daniele Longo, Tanganga has received an offer from Nottingham Forest, but the player wants to join Milan and is waiting for further developments. The newly-promoted Premier League club would sign Tanganga on a permanent €20m deal.

Meantime, the Rossoneri have reportedly received a request for Pobega.

Torino want to loan the Italy starlet again and according to Tuttosport, Davide Vagnati called Ricky Massara on Tuesday to sound out the midfielder’s availability.

Pobega extended his contract with Milan after a convincing loan spell at the Stadio Grande Torino last season but is not a regular starter at San Siro, so the Rossoneri may consider a new loan for the 23-year-old.

8 thought on “Milan transfers: Tanganga latest, Torino call for Pobega”
  1. Surely this is the season Milan give Pobega a proper chance. We’re not exactly overflowing with CMs and he was impressive last season. If not now, when?

  2. He didn’t host any party this weekend since Monza got trashed 0-4. Maybe after they secure their first 3points? I’ll let you know once I got invited 😉

  3. Pobega looked atrocious on his debut on the opener. Literally like an amateur. Being turn inside and out. Bakayoko will definitely leave. Krunic has proven to be a reliable option now, clearly making a significant improvement. So for now, Pobega cannot be trusted as 3rd choice. Onana has great stats. Ignore the fact he’d be coming from a relegation team. Same can be said for all our other CMs weirdly.

Pobega will stay and hopefully improve. Needs to learn what Pioli demands.
