Milan have taken in more from transfers to the big five League clubs in the last five years than any other Italian side.

The Football Observatory released its findings on sales since 2008-09 to the major tournaments in Europe – Italy, Spain, England, Germany and France.

They were surprisingly followed by Real Madrid with €303.7m, Porto on €282.7m, Liverpool €239.8m and Milan in fifth place with €229.5m.
