Milan are reportedly ready to send Ante Rebic back to Eintracht Frankfurt, just four months after signing the forward.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, Rebic could already be heading for the exit door after a disappointing start to the season.

He joined the Rossoneri after catching the eye at Eintracht and was also a key member of the Croatia squad that ended the 2018 World Cup in Russia as runners-up to France.

But after playing just 178 minutes this season, still yet to score for his new club, it is possible he will be returned to the Bundesliga side.

The newspaper adds his two-year loan deal, which does not include an option to buy, could be terminated this winter to make room for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Andre Silva moved to Eintracht in the opposite direction on the same basis but has similarly struggled, netting just three goals in 15 appearances.
