Mauro Icardi has revealed how he enters “killer mode” when a chance falls his way, as the Inter forward shines on loan at Paris Saint-Germain.

The 26-year-old left the Nerazzurri over the summer and moved to the French capital, where he has gone on to impress in front of goal with 13 goals in 17 games – five of them coming in the Champions League.

“Scoring comes natural to me,” Icardi told the club’s official website. “I always try to be in the best position.

“Scoring comes natural to me,” Icardi told the club’s official website. “I always try to be in the best position.

“As soon as I have the opportunity to score, I have to stay focused and go into killer mode.

“Today, I have scored almost 150 goals and they’re almost similar, all of them. That’s my character.”

PSG have an option to buy Icardi next year, so would he like to make his loan spell permanent?

“I can say that I’m feeling very well,” he replied.

“I arrived here with the desire to demonstrate what I can do and as we speak, things are positive.

“I immediately had a good connection with my teammates and this made me adapt quickly.

“I am here to try to help the team win the majority of the trophies.”
