Stories emerging from Italy this afternoon are suggesting that Rossoneri officials will hold talks with Kia Joorabchian.

The Argentina international’s career at City is in some doubt after falling out with boss Roberto Mancini earlier this season.

It has been claimed by the Premiership giants that the former Manchester United man refused to play in their Champions League tie at Bayern Munich in September.

The Italian champions are looking for a new forward given that they may be without Antonio Cassano for the rest of the season.

The Italian international underwent minor heart surgery recently and could be sidelined for the next six months.

Signing Tevez, however, would be problematic for the San Siro giants.

Milan’s possible request to net the player on loan in January is likely to be rejected by the English club who would prefer to sell him outright.

It seems unlikely that Milan could afford the 27-year-old who has a market valuation of over €30m.
