As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, Milan’s point average is 2,5. Bayern have 2,4 and Tottenham 2,1.

Together with Atletico Madrid and Juventus they are the only unbeaten team in Europe’s top five leagues.

The Rossoneri scored 21 goals in the opening nine Serie A games of the season. They only did better in the 2002-03 campaign when they managed 23.

They only conceded eight goals in nine Serie A matches, two more than in the 2008-09 campaign when they allowed seven.

“I see another small piece in the large puzzle that we started some time ago. The game after the Europa League is always the toughest, but we reacted like the great team we are,” Daniele Bonera said after Milan’s win on Sunday.
