Gigio Donnarumma is reportedly close to extending his contract with Milan while negotiations with Hakan Calhanoglu are complicated as the Turkey international is wanted by Manchester United and Juventus.

Both players see their contracts expire in June but the goalkeeper is closer to extending his stay at the club than his teammate is.

According to the report, Milan and Donnarumma are close to reaching an economic agreement.

The club offer €6.5m-a-year while the request is €7.5m. The two parties are getting closer with Donnarumma’s brother Antonio who would also sign a new deal with the club.

The only doubt surrounding Donnarumma's extension is linked with a release clause his agent Mino Raiola wants to include in his contract and that can be activated in case Milan fail to qualify for the Champions League. Milan do not want to include any release clause in the player's contract.

As for Calhanoglu, talks are much more complicated.

Milan have reportedly offered €3 million but the player’s agent Gordon Stipic has requested a new €6m-a-year deal.

The two parties have only met once over the last few months and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport Milan do not want to raise their offer.

Manchester United are reported to be interested in the Turkey international who has also some requests from Serie A.

According to Sky Sport, Juventus could try to sign the player as a free agent at the end of the season.
