The Rossoneri transfer chief flew back from Brazil this afternoon, where he had been in negotiations with Tevez and agent Kia Joorabchian.
“Tevez accepted our proposal and is in agreement with us. Now it’s up to Manchester City whether they want to accept it or not,” Galliani told Sky Sport Italia at the airport.
He also commented on the reports that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to pay €45m to take Alexandre Pato.
“There are absolutely no negotiations. Pato is our player.”
It is rumoured that Milan used this trip to Brazil in order to formulate a proposal that City would find more suitable, having previously rejected the offer to take Tevez on loan with an option to buy for €24m.
As Inter are now in the race along with PSG, the Rossoneri are changing their approach slightly.
It’s believed they are sending a formal offer to make the buy-out clause mandatory if Tevez plays at least 50 per cent of the remaining matches this season.
It is similar to the deal already in place with Liverpool, where Alberto Aquilani is on loan with a clause securing his buy-out if he makes a certain number of appearances.
