Renato Sanches has made it clear that Paris Saint-Germain only have a couple of days to finalise a deal with Lille before he accepts Milan’s offer.
The 24-year-old Portuguese midfielder is ready for the jump to a top club following an important three-year spell with Lille, which helped him find his footing following a difficult time with Bayern Munich. Milan have been fans of Sanches for a while now but PSG’s interest put them in a tough spot.
As reported by L’Equipe, Sanches is tired of waiting for a transfer and so has informed PSG that they have 48 hours to close out a deal with Lille before he makes the decision to accept Milan’s offer.
The Rossoneri have reportedly offered around €15m plus €3m in add-ons, higher than PSG’s roughly €12m offer. With the French giants still not reaching an agreement with Lille, the 24-year-old Portuguese midfielder could soon be on the way to Lombardy.
Last season, Sanches scored one goal and provided five assists in 24 Ligue 1 appearances.

as a milan fan, I am no longer keen on this guy joining milan given the way in which he has tried to play milan against PSG in order to improve his salary conditions ….. milan do not need such players ……
With the mercenary attitude shown, he’ll be the perfect replacement for Kessie, at least on the payroll.
He could certainly do a job in midfield and be sold on for a profit when the acquisition cost is that low, but the club must indeed sell if an offer comes in, or another free transfer exit seems to be on the books.

Renato is top quality and as much as it would improve Milan I’m looking forward to him playing in Serie A and only wish we signed him instead of Miki and Hakan

I was always impressed when we played again Lille and he would just tear through our side. I’d be happy for him to join us. However I do wonder why we are offering multiple millions more than PSG, when we can’t seem to find the extra couple million for CdK.

What I find strange is Kessie going to Barca ? I am sure he and his agent were apprised to the fact that they still owe back pay to players ? And how are they allowed to engage in new financial obligations when they can’t fulfill the present ?
Yes i realize they will have some funds from the sale of De Jong , but that looks to be turning into a pretty big if right now.

it is normal for players nowadays to prioritize PSG over Milan, I mean who doesn’t want to play with messi, neymar and mbappe at the same time in your team and also with bigger salary.. well, but if you want to go to a clubs with european traditions and some hardcore loyal fans then you have to go to the likes of Milan, Madrid, Barca, Bayern or Liverpool..
