Whilst it may be difficult, it’s not impossible for Milan to secure Renato Sanches’ signature this summer, despite Paris Saint-Germain’s interest.

The Rossoneri have been big fans of the 24-year-old Portuguese midfielder for a long time now and believe he’d be the perfect addition to Stefano Pioli’s squad, but things haven’t been simple following the emergence of PSG. The idea of joining the French giants seemingly proved too tempting to resist for Sanches and Milan’s hopes looked dashed.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG have still not made an official offer to Lille for Sanches yet and a little concern is starting to form. Milan are still keen to pick up the Portuguese midfielder and the Parisians slow work could allow them to get a deal across the line.

The Rossoneri are also working to close out a deal for Club Brugge talent Charles De Ketelaere, however, and for the time being this option seems more likely. The 21-year-old would be happy to make the move to Lombardy and a third offer will be proposed in the coming days.

  1. A good lesson to learn in life that works equally for football transfers, work relationships and life relationships;

    If the other person isn’t as interested in being with you as you are with them, then just leave it and move on.

    Nobody is worth chasing if they’re not prepared to make an effort to be with you.
