Milan striker Andre Silva could be the key to unlocking any move for Olympique Marseille winger Florian Thauvin this summer.

According to both Tuttosport and France Football, Thauvin could be set for a move away from Marseille in the next transfer window.

The 26-year-old has scored 15 times while also providing nine assists from 33 games for Rudi Garcia’s side and has attracted the interest of Bayern Munich.

Despite Thauvin’s agent stating this week that a potential move to Milan was nonsense, there is the possibility that Silva could be used as a counterpart to sweeten any deal.

Silva is currently on loan at Sevilla from the Rossoneri, but it looks increasingly likely that the Andalusian club will not take up their option to buy at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old has netted 11 times in 40 games for Los Rojiblancos and would cost them €32m to redeem.

Thauvin’s arrival at San Siro would possibly see Milan’s current right winger Suso available for transfer. The Spaniard has a release clause of €38m.
