Reports say Milan have reignited interest in Giannelli Imbula, despite losing out to Porto in the summer.

The 23-year-old was a summer target for the Rossoneri when he was at Marseille, but the midfielder eventually moved to Porto and Milan signed Andrea Bertolacci instead.

However, Tuttosport believes that Sinisa MIhajlovic’s side are back in for the France Under-21 international as they look to strengthen their midfield in January.

However, Tuttosport believes that Sinisa MIhajlovic’s side are back in for the France Under-21 international as they look to strengthen their midfield in January.

The newspaper believes that he will be an expensive option, as Porto are unlikely to let Imbula go for less than the €25m they paid for him in the summer.

The central midfielder has made nine league appearances this season, chipping in with one assist.
