Roberto Mancini says Inter ‘have improved from last season’ and looks ahead to facing ‘one of Europe’s best’ when they meet PSG tomorrow.

The two clubs will face off in a friendly match in Doha during their winter break, before league football restarts on January 6 in Italy.

“We’ve improved from last season,” Mancini said at today’s Press conference.

“The league is strange and difficult, at the start we were targeting the Champions League but now who knows.

“The league is strange and difficult, at the start we were targeting the Champions League but now who knows.

“We want to do the best for ourselves, we’ll see in the end if it’s possible to win something.

“PSG are a top team, I’m sure people will come to the stadium to see a fantastic match with some absolute champions.

“I want to compliment the people who worked to create the structures for the future World Cup.

“PSG are among the best teams in Europe, we’re Inter and when two great teams meet you can never predict what happens.

“We must focus on doing well against Empoli, and this match will be a great test.”
