There is some good news for Milan, as Ante Rebic has not sustained a serious injury, so should be available this weekend against Lazio.

The forward was meant to come off the bench during last night’s Coppa Italia semi-final against Inter, but coach Stefano Pioli confirmed in a press conference that Rebic felt a twinge during the warm-up and it was decided not to risk it.

That 3-0 defeat at San Siro, sealed by a Lautaro Martinez brace and late Robin Gosens tap-in, allowed Inter to reach the Coppa Italia Final and eliminate Milan.

Rebic had tests today and a statement from the club noted there was no serious damage, so he should be able to return to training tomorrow.

His presence against Lazio is sorely needed this weekend in Serie A, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alessio Romagnoli, Simon Kjaer and Alessandro Florenzi are still out of action, giving Pioli few options for squad rotation, especially upfront.
