Ruben Loftus-Cheek has started to see the light at the end of the tunnel and is set to return for Milan ahead of their Champions League battle with Paris Saint-Germain.

The 27-year-old Englishman started seven of the first eight games of the season for the Rossoneri and quickly started to prove himself following his €20m move from Chelsea in the summer.

In the first half of the win over Lazio at the end of September, Loftus-Cheek was forced off the pitch due to an adductor issue. He has missed Milan’s last five consecutive matches, reducing Stefano Pioli’s options.

Page three of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how Loftus-Cheek has recovered from his adductor injury, no longer feeling pain, and is now set to join the Milan squad for their clash with Udinese on Saturday.

Current indications suggest that the Englishman will likely come off the bench against the Friulian side before entering the starting lineup for the European encounter with PSG.
