Milan have presented their technical project to Fenerbahce talent Arda Guler, hoping to beat out Barcelona and Real Madrid for his signature, Daniele Longo details.

The Rossoneri, under the new guidance of chief scout Geoffrey Moncada, are looking around for the right figures for Stefano Pioli’s squad, hoping to try and close the gap to the top teams in Serie A.

Milan have already been active in the summer transfer window, agreeing the sale of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United and preparing to welcome Daichi Kamada on a free transfer. Other targets include Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi and Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku.

Longo of Calciomercato.com reports that Milan have already sounded out a move with Guler, presenting their project to the teenager and his entourage. The talented forward would immediately be integrated into Pioli’s squad, wouldn’t leave on loan and would have the chance to earn a starting spot in the squad.

This is a very different proposal compared to the ones presented by Barcelona and Real Madrid, who would both look to send him out on loan after his arrival in Spain.

Milan are now waiting for an answer from Guler, having already expressed their willingness to pay his €17.5m release clause. They’re not alone in this, however, leaving the ball in the 18-year-old’s court.
