Al-Nassr have agreed to the terms of a deal with Inter for midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and are ready to finalise the transfer, Gianluca Di Marzio details.

The 30-year-old Croatian midfielder has been a core part of Simone Inzaghi’s squad in the Lombardy capital and featured prominently this season, seeing over 2500 minutes of action across 40 games, including the full 90 minutes of the Champions League final.

Inter’s delicate financial position means that they need to sell some players this summer in order to give them the resources necessary to bring in reinforcements, and one of the players set to see the door is Brozovic.

Di Marzio details how Al-Nassr have agreed to pay Inter around €23m for Brozovic, who is expected to sign a three-year deal worth around €20m per season.

The Croatian midfielder, who initially joined the Nerazzurri in January 2015 from Dinamo Zagreb, made 330 appearances across all competitions for the club, scoring 31 goals and providing 43 assists.

  1. If they can afford to pay him a ridiculous 20m a year, then they can pay a higher fee too.
