Milan will head to Dubai for a training retreat during the World Cup break and are reportedly setting up a friendly match against Liverpool.

Serie A will take a six-week break next month to allow for players to head to their national teams for the tournament. The league will take pause from November 14 to January 4, forcing clubs to come up with plans for training retreats for the players left behind. Many clubs are using this period to carry out a training camp abroad, including the Rossoneri.

As highlighted by TMW, Milan will travel to Dubai for their training camp and they’re planing to use this opportunity to face Liverpool, who will also be in the country, in a friendly match.

The Rossoneri are also considering setting up other friendlies for when they return to Italy, allowing the players left behind to maintain their match fitness before the league resumes in the new year.
