Milan and Roma have reportedly made approaches for Norwich City and England Under-21 defender Ben Godfrey.
According to Calciomercato.it, the two clubs recently spoke to Godfrey’s representatives about the chances of landing the 22-year-old.
Although Norwich value him at €50m, the website claims a deal could be clinched for €28m – almost half the quoted future.
The Englishman, who can also play in central midfield, has played 26 times for the Canaries in the Premier League this season.

However, he looks set to leave in the coming months as his current club are 10 points adrift of safety and all-but-relegated.
The Rossoneri are looking increasingly towards England, having almost signed Wigan Athletic full-back Antonee Robinson in January.
Roma, meanwhile, signed Chris Smalling, Davide Zappacosta and Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Premier League sides last summer.
