Reports suggest Milan are still dreaming of a return for Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Rossoneri have been publicly courting the Swedish international this summer, but any potential deal seemed dead when Ibra met PSG in Qatar and was given assurances of his importance.

However, today’s edition of Tuttosport claims the situation has changed with the relaxation of Financial Fair Play sanctions on the French champions.

The sports daily believes Coach Laurent Blanc is looking to field a 4-3-3, and has requested Angel Di Maria for the left of the trident, with Edinson Cavani in the middle.

Ibrahimovic is 33, and has one year remaining on his contract, and Tuttosport reports that the player’s agent Mino Raiola met with PSG’s directors on Monday night.

Milan are said to be preparing a contract worth €9m for two seasons, or €6m for three seasons, as well as being willing to hand the striker the captain’s armband and the number 10 shirt.

However, any move would depend on Paris Saint-Germain being willing to let Ibrahimovic leave, as the Diavolo could not afford a large transfer fee.
