Milan’s joint-CEO Adriano Galliani will reportedly meet with Roma in the coming days to agree a deal for Alessio Romagnoli.

Rossoneri Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has specifically asked for the defender, with whom he worked at Sampdoria last season.

The Gazzetta dello Sport believes this weekend will be decisive for the transfer, with Galliani set to meet with Giallorossi sporting director Walter Sabatini at Forte dei Marmi.

The Lupi are asking for €30m for the Italian Under-21 international, while the Diavolo’s last offer was €25m.

However, with the capital club set to invest around €40m in Mohamed Salah and Edin Dzeko there could be room for negotiation, with the clubs meeting somewhere in the middle.

Romagnoli has already agreed a contract in principle with Milan, which would see him earn €2m per season on a five-year deal.
