Milan are ready to welcome new arrival Charles De Ketelaere but they may be forced to change their plans a little as they prepare to close out a deal.

The Rossoneri recently agreed a €36m total deal with Club Brugge for the talented 21-year-old forward, who seems to be a perfect fit for Stefano Pioli’s system in the Lombardy capital. Milan had been in talks for De Ketelaere for a number of weeks before finally reaching a deal, refusing to give up in their chase.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan were originally expecting De Ketelaere to arrive tonight ahead of his pre-transfer medicals tomorrow, but now they’re also preparing to welcome him tomorrow morning instead. The 21-year-old is still settling his affairs in Belgium before making the move, so a slight delay may be needed.

De Ketelaere would then do the first part of his medicals on Monday before finishing the rest on Tuesday. Should everything go to plan, he’d put pen to paper on his Milan contract and become available to Pioli.

  1. Is this little story really worth the time it took to write? Report on the players we already have. When CDK arrives is not important. Until he signs on the dotted line all other news regarding him is irrelevant.
