Milan are already planning their summer transfer window and have decided what to do with on-loan duo Aster Vranckx and Sergino Dest, reports detail.

The Rossoneri had a relatively quiet summer last year following their Scudetto success, focusing on getting the Charles De Ketelaere deal across the line, something that hasn’t particularly paid off this season.

Two players who were picked up on loan with Vranckx and Dest, both of whom have struggled for regular minutes under Stefano Pioli this campaign.

Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com details how Milan are still option to purchasing Vranckx from VfL Wolfsburg in the summer, although they’re hoping to receive a discount on the €12m fee agreed last year.

Things are different for Dest, who will almost certainly return to Barcelona at the end of the season, with the Rossoneri having no intention of paying €20m to make his stay permanent. The American has only made two Serie A starts this campaign.

  1. Dest is currently the 2nd highest earner in the entire squad 😂 If there ever was a clear example of woeful and shambolic financial management on the part of Barcelona. Vranckx though definitely has to stay.
