Milan have to look elsewhere after Leeds United reportedly agreed terms with Barcelona for full-back Junior Firpo worth €15m plus bonuses.

The Rossoneri only wanted to bring him in on loan with option to buy, whereas the Blaugrana were eager to cash in on the Dominican, having paid €18m to sign him from Real Betis in 2019.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio on Sky Sport Italia, Leeds United have now agreed terms with Barcelona for a permanent transfer, spending €15m plus performance-related bonuses and add-ons.

Spanish sources had already reported they were close to a deal this morning and it seems to be on the way towards final confirmation.

Junior Firpo turns 25 in August and made just 18 competitive appearances for Barcelona this season, playing only 844 minutes of football.

Milan continue to seek an understudy to Theo Hernandez at left-back, but will only bring in a free agent or a player on loan.
