Milan have announced that Luca Antonelli suffered “a partial tear of the soleus muscle”.
The defender came off the bench to score a spectacular overhead kick in the 3-3 draw with Frosinone, but suffered an injury after the match.
“AC Milan announces that, at the end of Milan-Frosinone on Sunday, Luca Antonelli suffered a partial tear of the soleus muscle in his right leg,” a statement on the Rossoneri’s website read.
“Recovery times will be evaluated based on the evolution of the clinical picture.”
