Reports are gathering pace that Milan will look to sign Torino stopper Angelo Ogbonna over the summer.

The Rossoneri, fresh from losing the Scudetto to Juventus, intend to strengthen their defensive options ahead of next term.

Milan have already conceded eight more goals this season in the League than they did last time out – and they still have a game to play.

With Alessandro Nesta and Mario Yepes possibly on the way out once their contracts expire in June, as well as the form problems of Philippe Mexes, Ogbonna is on the Rossoneri radar.

The centre-back, who will be 24 this month, has again been impressing for Torino in Serie B this season. His form has been so good that he is in the plans of Italy boss Cesare Prandelli.

It’s unclear how much Torino value the youngster at, with some reports suggesting that €10m would be enough, while others are quoting double that price.

Ogbonna, who recently claimed that he has never been close to leaving Turin, is contracted at Toro until June 2016.
