Andrea Pirlo said after the game he doubts the former Atletico Madrid star will be fit to play against Milan on Wednesday January 6.

Morata is the second-best Juventus scorer this season with 10 goals in 17 appearances in all competitions.

Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ismael Bennacer, Matteo Gabbia and Alexis Saelemaekers trained separately today and are all likely to miss the San Siro clash.

The Swede has given Milan fans hopes he could recover for the match, but Sky Sport insists he won’t be fit to play.

Bennacer is a regular Milan starter having already played 17 games across all competitions so far this season.

Sandro Tonali will serve a one-match ban after seeing red against Benevento while Juventus’ Juan Cuadrado and Adrien Rabiot were suspended against Udinese, but will be eligible to play against Milan.

The Rossoneri are the Serie A table leaders, while Juventus sit fifth 10 points off the Rossoneri, but with one game in hand.
