Milan are looking to close out a deal with Club Brugge for Charles De Ketelaere over the next 48 hours as contacts resume between the clubs today.

The 21-year-old Belgian talent was left out of Club Brugge’s Super Cup win over Gent yesterday, remaining on the bench for the full 90 minutes as his hometown club lifted another trophy. After the full time whistle, he appeared to say goodbye to the fans, ready for his next adventure abroad.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan and Club Brugge will be in contact today to discuss the improved offer for De Ketelaere. The Rossoneri are ready to offer around €30m plus €5m in add-ons for the 21-year-old, which could be enough to close out a deal.

Leeds United have long been interested in the Belgian talent as well but now a move to Milan seems more likely and the Rossoneri are pushing to finalise things this week.
