Giacomo Bonaventura wants a good Europa League run this season as “Milan have always played a leading role in Europe”.

“Milan have always played a leading role in Europe,” Bonaventura said in the Press conference ahead of the Olympiakos match.
“We have to do our best to take Milan back to high levels, we have more experience than last season so we have to do better.

“The atmosphere after the Sassuolo game was positive, but we can’t get too carried away. We need to be balanced when we win and when we lose, but obviously that will help us tomorrow.”
Bonaventura also discussed the impact of Coach Gennaro Gattuso.
“Since he arrived he’s brought a lot of enthusiasm and a beautiful spirit. We’re all doing better with him, we’ve improved a lot and this is perhaps the strongest team in recent years.”
