Milan official Adriano Galliani will fly to England on Thursday to make Manchester City a fresh offer for Carlos Tevez. But will Alexandre Pato be sacrificed?

According to reports in Italy, the Vice-President is ready to alter the club’s original request in order to net the Argentine after Inter joined the race for him.

Milan, having agreed personal terms with the striker, wanted Tevez on loan with the option to buy at the end of the season. City rejected that request.

However, the champions are now ready to accept a mandatory buy-out at the end of the season with that fee set at €25m. That figure could rise by another €3m if certain bonus conditions are met.

Nevertheless, in order to finance that deal, it is being claimed that Milan will sell Pato to Paris Saint-Germain.

Although links between the Brazilian and the French club have been denied by all parties recently, sources in Italy claim a switch is on the horizon.

It was claimed yesterday that Milan had rejected a €28m offer from PSG for the young striker. PSG are now said to have upped their approach to €33m.
