Milan face a great deal of competition for Girondins de Bordeaux midfielder Yacine Adli, including Tottenham, Arsenal and Lille.

Multiple sources including Footmercato, Calciomercato.com and La Gazzetta dello Sport all point to intensive negotiations for the Rossoneri.

The reports in France suggest Milan made a proposal worth €12m plus 10 per cent of any future transfer, but Bordeaux are asking for a higher transfer fee.

Although the Serie A club are the favourites, they also face strong competition on the transfer market from Spurs, Arsenal and LOSC.

Adli just turned 21 last month and is a creative midfielder who came up through the Paris Saint-Germain academy, leaving for €5.5m in January 2019.

He made 35 Ligue 1 appearances for Bordeaux last term, scoring two goals and contributing five assists.

With Josip Ilicic seemingly ready to remain with Atalanta instead of walking away, Milan are ready to go all in for Adli.

He would be yet another French signing for the Diavolo this season after Mike Maignan, Fode Ballo-Toure and Olivier Giroud.
