Milan are looking to continue tying down their young talents to new contracts as they enter into talks with Pierre Kalulu’s entourage.

The 21-year-old French defender has become a first team regular this season following the serious injury suffered by Simon Kjaer early into the campaign. He has proven himself to be a talented young defender with significant potential.

As reported by Tuttosport, Milan have opened talks with Kalulu’s entourage in order to try and iron out a new contract. The club’s objective is to extend his current deal until 2026, doubling his salary in the process.

The Frenchman is keen to continue his work in Milan and is likely to put pen to paper with little complaint, something he alluded to in a recent interview.

Kalulu has made 25 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1437 minutes. In that time, he’s provided two assists and helped the side keep nine clean sheets.

  1. A true bright spot, started showing it last year. Let Romagnoli go and bring in another good young Defender like Kalulu, especially one so positionally flexible.
