Ismael Bennacer and Yunus Musah commented on Samu Castillejo’s Instagram post following Sassuolo‘s 2-1 win over Inter on Wednesday.
The Spanish winger, a former Milan and Valencia man, was introduced in the second half at the Stadio Meazza last night when Sassuolo stunned Inter with a 2-1 victory.
Castillejo posted two pictures on Instagram after the game, writing: ‘Nice to win again at San Siro.’
The social media post received more than 46,000 likes and nearly 2,000 comments including two from his former teammates Musah and Bennacer.
The USMNT international played with Castillejo at Valencia and commented with an Italian word, ‘Bellissimo’, wonderful in English, while Bennacer, a former Milan teammate of Castillejo, posted heart emojis.
More Milan players, Rafael Leao, Fikayo Tomori, Alessandro Florenzi and Samuel Chukwueze, liked the post, and the same did ex-Rossoneri midfielder Franck Kessié.
Inter’s first defeat this season means Milan have now caught their city rivals on top of the Serie A table with 15 points.
The Rossoneri beat Claudio Ranieri’s Cagliari 3-1 away on Wednesday.
