There are reports CSKA Moscow are now open to accepting Milan’s proposal to sign Nikola Vlasic on loan with obligation to buy, but want €30m.

The creative midfielder had been heavily linked with a move to San Siro, although CSKA Moscow only wanted to let him leave on a permanent transfer.

According to Tuttosport, that has now changed, as the Russian club is prepared to consider a loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season.

An option to buy is still the preferred Rossoneri approach, but they are at least now open to spreading the payment out over more than one season.

The price-tag remains an issue, with Milan supposedly offering €25m, whereas he has a €30m release clause in his contract.

Vlasic turns 24 in October and joined CSKA Moscow from Everton for €15.7m in 2019, having already spent the 2018-19 campaign in Russia on loan.

The Croatia international contributed 12 goals and six assists in 34 competitive appearances for CSKA last season.
