This morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport describes today as crucial for a deal to be completed, with Roma said to have warmed to the idea of an initial loan deal.

It had previously been thought that the Giallorossi would only do a deal on a permanent basis, but the newspaper states that sporting director Walter Sabatini is now open to an initial loan of €2m, with a further €15m to be paid in the summer.

The Lupi’s previous asking price was thought to be €20m, but as the capital club seeks funds to sign Luiz Adriano, a deal could take place. The sports daily reports that Adriano will decide today whether to move to Serie A, and if that move goes ahead, Destro can move to Milan.
