Milan are finalising their contract offer to Divock Origi and things could be confirmed later this week.

The 26-year-old Belgian forward’s contract expires with Liverpool at the end of this season and a renewal will not be signed, meaning that he’s able to sign a pre-contract with a new club straight away. He has been with the Reds since 2014 and scored a number of vital goals, playing an important part of their recent successes.

As highlighted by TuttoMercatoWeb, Milan are preparing to offer Origi a contract worth around €3-4m net per season soon, feeling confident that a deal can be finalised soon. The only remaining concern now is the size of the agent’s commissions, which could be large considering the fact that it’s a free transfer.

The Belgian forward will be fighting for a starting spot alongside veterans Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The latter’s contract expires in June but a renewal is already on the table and ready to go.

  1. I hope it will be done deal. Origi is super player. AC win a title so Ibra should retire with a style. I hope so. Giroud will take his place – he is already better option in starting 11 like Ibra. If Renato Sanches will come too it will be an interesting refreshing.

  2. Not sure about this but I suppose it he doesn’t work out after a season, we can sell him. I really want Bellotti tho

  3. I have one very big reservation on Origi. The fact that he played for Liverpool shows that he has potential and is a good player. However, he does not seem to be a very prolific scorer and statistics show that he scores a goal every 5 matches …….. not very impressive when Milan need a scorer who bangs them in regularly ……

You never know Milan might surprise us and get Belotti. Seems kinda improbable but we’ll just have to wait and see. Only if Ibra retires is how I see them getting Belotti too. I’d like Renato, Berardi, and Belotti to come in.
