Milan are reportedly close to signing Sevilla‘s Rafa Mir so they will drop Leicester City striker Patson Daka having problems getting a working visa before today’s deadline.

Stefano Pioli will likely get a new centre forward by 19:00 BST when the summer transfer window in Serie A comes to an end.

Sky Sport Italia have broken the news that the Rossoneri are close to signing Sevilla striker Rafa Mir on loan with an option to buy. It’s been confirmed by other sources in Italy, including Milannews.

Milan had reached a principle of agreement with Leicester City and their striker Daka, but according to reports, the Rossoneri feared the Zambia international would not have gotten a working visa in time.

Therefore, they are now working to finalise a transfer for Mir. According to Sky Sport, the Spaniard is ready to fly to Italy. The 26-year-old has scored one goal in three appearances with Sevilla this season and previously played for Wolves, Nottingham Forest, Huesca and Las Palmas.

Milan have also sent Lorenzo Colombo out on loan at Monza, while Forest and Burnely are interested in Divock Origi.
