Contrary to various rumours, redundant Milan and Chelsea midfielder Tiemoué Bakayoko has not yet agreed to join Adana Demirspor.

The 28-year-old Frenchman is not a part of Stefano Pioli’s project in the Lombardy capital and has not made a single appearance for the Rossoneri this season.

Bakayoko returned to Milan in August 2021 from Chelsea on a two-year loan deal with a conditional obligation to buy clause attached, something the Serie A side have no intention of paying.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Bakayoko has not responded to Adana Demirspor’s latest offer and has not departed for Turkey. No medicals have been scheduled for the French midfielder.

The Chelsea loanee has still not decided what he wants to do next and so will take a few more days to consider his options before this month’s transfer window closes.

Last season, Bakayoko made 18 appearances across all competitions for Milan, for a total of 607 minutes.
