Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has revealed that he will meet with boss Massimiliano Allegri this week to discuss his future.

Although the tactician still has a year left on his contract, it is unclear whether the Coach will remain at San Siro.

“I’ll see Allegri on Wednesday,” Galliani noted. “I’ll understand what he wants to do. We’ll then speak with the President and make a decision.”

In his three years at Milan, Allegri has led the club to a first, second and third-place finish. The win at Siena last night ensured qualification to the Champions League preliminaries.

“In order to balance the books we need sporting results,” the official continued. “There is a massive difference between Champions League and the Europa League.

“It is like a side being relegated from Serie A to B. That is why there is so much tension when you are fighting between third and fourth place.”

Allegri, meanwhile, is being linked with a possible future at Roma.
