Sinisa Mihajlovic admits Torino were ‘superior in every way’ and above all he was furious to see Bologna be ‘sluggish.’

The final result was 2-1 thanks to a late and dubious Riccardo Orsolini penalty, but the Granata dominated the match for large periods and Lukasz Skorupski kept the scoreline down.

“We lost deservedly today, as Torino were superior in every way,” Mihajlovic told Sky Sport Italia.

“Along with the Empoli game, this was perhaps our worst performance. I tried to introduce an extra striker to be more aggressive, but it just didn’t happen.

“We didn’t have the right attitude. It was also my mistake putting on three forwards, so I take responsibility for this loss, we should’ve been more aggressive.”

Bologna did start to create some chances in the final 10 minutes, but it was too late to turn this around.

“There was not a single dribble over 95 minutes from my men and when you are facing these sides who press you all over the pitch, there’s no hope of winning without that. It’s just not enough.

“I expected more, in terms of both quality and quantity. It’s about attitude, we were sluggish and that’s the worst thing I can see in one of my teams.”
