“Napoli are the form team in Serie A right now and they force you to play a certain way, so we must be both hammer and anvil,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“On home turf especially, Napoli like to keep possession, but we’ll play our style of football and play with our heads held high.”

This match comes off the back of a 3-1 Derby della Mole defeat, having initially taken the lead against Juventus.

“I think that considering the performance we deserved more against Juve. I will only say this: my choices are always aimed at winning games, that is my mentality. I’d make all the same decisions again, both before and during the matches.

“I may well make mistakes, but I think everyone can appreciate a more ambitious Torino that always tries to win. I don’t think the substitutions made a difference for Juventus, as our four defenders had to work with three opposition strikers anyway. The fact is we conceded a goal after 30 seconds on a situation we’ve worked on many times.

“Antonio Barreca was marking Gonzalo Higuain, but he wasn’t alone. You can think what you like, but my choices are always aimed at winning and not to avoid losing.

“Napoli have an unpredictable attack. Marek Hamsik plays all over the pitch, Jose Callejon attacks the space, while Dries Mertens and Manolo Gabbiadini can cause problems at any moment. I compliment Maurizio Sarri for what he’s doing with Napoli, considering they sold Higuain.”

Mihajlovic famously said Maksimovic was “dead to me” after the defender forced a transfer from Torino to Napoli this summer. Will they shake hands ahead of tomorrow’s game?

“I am concentrated on Napoli, there’s no point talking about Maksimovic, especially as he barely plays now. I had wanted to talk to him in person, but he left without a word.”
