Sinisa Mihajlovic insists the Milan squad is behind him, and notes “I’ve never resigned”.

The Rossoneri Coach is under severe pressure, and has two games against Roma and Carpi to save his job.

“Do Milan need a change of Coach?” Mihajlovic considered in his Press conference ahead of the trip to face the Giallorossi.

“You can never say, there’s no fixed rule. I’ve never resigned, but if I saw that my team wasn’t training well or wasn’t united I’d be the first to get myself out.

“As long as I don’t see that, then I won’t do it myself. I’ve been told that the team is disunited, but with Frosinone [a 4-2 win] they were all with Mihajlovic.

“It’s part of the game, and that’s not the way I see it.

“The newspapers come in every day, and I told the lads in the Press office only to send me articles that speak well of me. I haven’t read a newspaper in a month and a half.

“However, I think the club is always behind us, it’s important that we all pull together toward the same goal.

“I haven’t noticed a lack of confidence from the club.”

Club President Silvio Berlusconi has aimed barbs at the Serbian tactician in the media, did the two speak after the defeat to Bologna.

“We didn’t talk after the game, but before. We’ll talk today or tomorrow. It’s always the President who makes the call.”

Roma’s Rudi Garcia is also thought to be under pressure, but the former Sampdoria Coach played down similarities between them.

“It looks like a shoot-out between him and me, but the situations aren’t the same,” Mihajlovic insisted.

“He’s been at Roma for three years, while I’ve been at Milan for six months. If we play the way we know we can then I know we can get a result.”
