Torino Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic criticises fans for whistling M’Baye Niang – “you can whistle those who don’t commit, but that’s not the case”.

The French forward set up the first goal against Carpi in the Coppa Italia last night, but his form has been poor since joining for Milan and he’s been a target for certain sections of the Granata support.

“Niang did well, I didn’t like the whistles from the fans,” Mihajlovic said in his Press conference after the match.

“You can whistle those who don’t commit, but that’s not the case. Niang did some good things, he made some mistakes too but the whistles are unfair, you won’t help him like that.

“He’s a legacy for this club, we have to help him. It was a good test though, and that’s what counts.”
