Sinisa Mihajlovic wants more from Riccardo Orsolini and Musa Barrow and hopes to see Bologna for once ‘take the lead’ against Atalanta tomorrow.

The Rossoblu haven’t taken the lead in their last four games and had to dig deep to secure back-to-back draws against Spezia and Torino in their two most recent matches.

Bologna are currently 14th in Serie A after 13 games and finish 2020 with a home game against Atalanta this Wednesday and Mihajlovic hopes he can see his team score first for once.

Bologna are currently 14th in Serie A after 13 games and finish 2020 with a home game against Atalanta this Wednesday and Mihajlovic hopes he can see his team score first for once.

“I would like to not see us go behind, I want to go ahead and then keep the lead,” Mihaljovic said at a press conference.

Mihajlovic said Riccardo Orsolini has recovered and continued to ask for more from him and Musa Barrow.

“For Christmas I would like to give them character and competitive confidence,” he added. “I would like more goals from them, more performances, fewer injuries.

“Orsolini has recovered, he could play for 20 to 30 minutes. I will finally have a change in attack.”

The Serbian coach added that the Rossoblu haven’t accumulated as many points as they have deserved in the first 13 games.

“We would have deserved four more points, but given the moment and the fact that this is not life and this is not real football, we must adapt, do as little damage as possible and start again,” Mihajlovic continued.

“We have always performed, but we have always collected less than we deserved. Before COVID, we were also on the right path, like Atalanta, but it takes time.

“Now, we are in difficulty and when we are, we need to know how to adapt to the situation and then start again once everything is finished, 2020 was a terrible year from all points of view.

“Bologna have all the credentials to start over again once all this is over. Now, we must understand the moment.”
