Juventus striker Alvaro Morata should be re-signed by Real Madrid, according to former Merengues midfielder Michel.
The Bianconeri signed the forward this summer, but the Spanish giants retain a buyback option for the next two seasons, a clause which Michel thinks they should exercise.
“He is a great lad and has been doing some magnificent things,” the former Olympiacos Coach stated in an interview with Gianluca Di Marzio’s website.

“He was not afraid to leave Real Madrid to take on a challenge as ambitious and demanding as playing for Juventus. He’s still playing at a top level and that makes me proud.
“Morata started this year as understudy to Fernando Llorente, but now he’s on the same level. He made the difference against Borussia [Dortmund in the Champions League], and I hope he goes on to be a success.
“If I were Florentino Perez and the decision was up to me I’d get him back for good.”
