The Rossoneri proved their critics wrong with an impressive 2-0 win over the Spanish giants on Wednesday in the Champions League.

The Rossoneri proved their critics wrong with an impressive 2-0 win over the Spanish giants on Wednesday in the Champions League.

Morale at the club is thus sky high, but the Frenchman has called for calm ahead of this Sunday’s derby against Inter.

“It was satisfying to beat Barcelona, but we still haven’t done anything yet,” the former Roma man told Milan Channel.

“The most difficult thing now will be to cope with the euphoria ahead of the Inter game, a match we want to win after the first game this season.”

Inter won the previous meeting between the two sides 1-0.

“Rodrigo Palacio and Antonio Cassano are good players who we’ll need to beware of,” Mexes added. “Whoever makes the fewest mistakes will win.

“Former Inter striker Mario Balotelli? He’s now at Milan and he’ll be a danger for the Nerazzurri.”
