Philippe Mexes is reportedly available on the transfer market for interested parties, but Milan are understood to have not received any offers.

The Frenchman was linked this weekend with involvement in a potential swap deal between the Rossoneri and Arsenal, for striker Nicklas Bendtner.

France Coach Didier Deschamps has commented that the centre-back ‘might leave’ the San Siro side this summer, whilst former club Roma have also been paired with a possible move.

However, the Gazzetta dello Sport are running the line this morning that the Rossoneri have yet to receive any offers for the 30-year-old, but that they would be willing to listen.

Mexes joined Milan on a Bosman deal last summer, but struggled in his first year at the club and only made 14 League appearances.

The defender, who was rumoured at one stage last term to have fallen out with Coach Massimiliano Allegri, has reportedly trained by himself this morning, after a ‘heated argument’ with a teammate.
