“We were playing in Udine today, but you couldn’t tell with the number of Napoli fans there. It seems Napoli supporters are everywhere!” the Belgian told DAZN.

“It’s not easy to wait five minutes before taking a penalty, but the fans really helped me this evening.”

The delay was due to VAR checks for a potential offside position in the build-up.

“We are changing a lot this season and everyone is contributing really well, for example Kevin Malcuit today, because waiting for your turn is tough.

“It’s important to improve, though, because we had the chances to kill the game off much earlier and we should’ve taken them. We gave our all today and continue to believe in ourselves.”
