Jeremy Menez believes Milan can beat Napoli when Rafa Benitez’s men visit San Siro on Sunday.

The Rossoneri would go level on points with the visitors if they were to emerge with a win at the weekend, and the French attacker believes in his side’s chances.

“It’s always nice to play against Napoli,” Menez told Milan Channel.

“On Sunday we have to play the way we know we can. We have to believe we can win.”

Although primarily known as a winger before arriving at Milanello, the former Paris Saint-Germain player has been fielded as a striker by Milan Coach Filippo Inzaghi this season.

However, the 27-year-old insists he is comfortable with his more central position.

“I’ve already played in this role with [Carlo] Ancelotti at PSG,” Menez explained.

“I feel good in this position. I always try to do my job, which is to help Milan and to grow as a player.

“I always try to score, maybe sometimes I’m not able to but I always try to help the team.

“My favourite goal? The one against Parma was really nice because it came as part of a win.

“I also really liked the one in the derby [with Inter], but I prefer the one against Parma because I like to win.”
