“My nickname isn’t important, I’ve been give many – I don’t mind Comandante, actually as I guide the midfield I think it’s appropriate.

“All teams need technique and fighting spirit. I arrived at the right place: they are used to winning, and then I add this characteristic. Our goal is to take Inter as far as possible.

“The derby was a unique experience. In Italy I played many times against Inter at the San Siro, so I already knew the environment.

“But finally I came in the Inter team after a long wait and won it with my parents and wife in the stands.

“Brazilians have always done well at Inter, I hope to return to the national team and make history here in Milan.

“It was easy to integrate into the group, despite the derby. I already feel like a part of the family.”
